My daughter is here!!! She was born a few days early, but she is healthy and all is fine.

Especially her digestive system!

I don’t know for sure, but I reckon we have gone through 150-200 diapers in her short 2-week life. I don’t know where it all comes from, either! She only weighs 7lbs 4oz.

Pooping aside, I have to say that so far life is awesome with her. I already have trouble remembering what the house was like without her in it.

Today starts my summer project: to drink ONLY NC brews until Labor Day. I think this should be an easy task, as there are tons of great NC breweries around the state.

My wife is now 25 weeks pregnant and I am stoked. This weekend we (meaning a lot of people and NOT me) painted the nursery and put together the crib (which I DID help with). Now, every time I walk by the room, I get a goofy smile on my face. I am so excited about being a dad I can’t stand it!

PLEASE PLEASE GET ME THESE PANTS FOR MY BIRTHDAY!!!

My wife is now about halfway through the pregnancy, and the closer it gets the more mushy I get. I feel like this is what I am supposed to do and that makes me happy and content. I know it will be hard; I know it will be harder than I can even prepare for. That doesn’t deter me. I am looking forward to being a dad to a beautiful little girl!
